To tell you the truth, the lil puppet is scaring me more than Franken-clown. Frankenclown is just too sweet with those puppy eyes! ^_^
davincipoppalag (Jul 29, 2004)
Yea D..Frankenclown has compassionate eyes. He looks like he would be upset he got the blood all over your clothes. But,,MrBillPuppet...watch out for him!
DMV (Jul 29, 2004)
LOL! yeah he looks harmless..but the puppet looks crazy:)
Gigge (Jul 29, 2004)
Hehe, yeah, it does look a little as if the puppet is controlling Frank.

Thanks everyone, this turned out much better than I expected. That's a clever observation, ironoxide.

Here's an interesting thought: I never could have made this just a few months ago, as I've learned so much since coming back to 2draw. Viva la 2draw!
ironoxide_red (Aug 4, 2004)
Viva! I'm here to learn too. Hopefully in 5 months I'll have found out how to use the water color tool.
Knockoff (Aug 4, 2004)
Woaw, now this is very nice realism, Zack. I love how you put realism together with something thats sometimes isn't real at all. The blood is great, next to that big red nose!:D

Evil, stupid, bald - very scary! He reminds me of the photo on the cover of my copy of A Confederation of Dunces. Nice work!
thug (Jul 29, 2004)
this rocks! reminds me of a nightmare I once had. If his mouth glowed red like coals that would be the guy who haunted my dream.
Aubrey (Aug 6, 2004)
I never got ta see this *sniffles* That guy does look very scary. That's a wicked grin you gave him Clox!
Xodiak (Sep 12, 2004)

I love this picture! Its soo adorable. And it makes me sad, because of Stitch feeling lonely at that part of the movie. Awesome picture. I love it.

I'm sorry you didn't get to say goodbye. But, I really like this series you're doing off of old photographs. They're so sentimental, so personal.
cmb (Jul 27, 2004)
thanks- I was wondering if i should do them- you have made me feel that I was right too...
emmamommalag (Jul 27, 2004)
Yes, you should be doing them.. they're great!

I saw this guy perform at the irish centre (archway) in london a couple of months ago, including some other totally awesome poets. The general atmosphere that day was amazing. ShortMAN gave me one of his postcards with his picture on it, i thought it looked really good so I felt like drawing it on here. Its not exactly the same, but close enough.

i think it's great... good job
ChimeraNell (Jul 27, 2004)
I agree with LEELEE, I think it's great. It is a tad pixelie, but that doesn't make it bad. ^_^ I love his hair, awesome job!
JackSprat (Jul 27, 2004)
Awesome paint! I love how you've captured it wih just a few color changes. Very nice.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jul 27, 2004)
I kind of like the 'pixeliness' of it, and the way it looks like it was just "splashed" there - has lots of energy without being contrived. A poet would love it.

Mine always got stuck and wouldn't come out when I cranked that handle thingy and I had to pry open the box and I hated him so I pulled him permanently out so he was Jack out of the Box and so this one doesn't have a handle. That reminds me, my "See and Say" toy with the animals always mooed on the cat and barked on the duck and stuff and then the string would get stuck and it wouldn't do anything and this is what happens when you have to put a description on every picture.

This is so cute, and so nicely done! It looks three dimensional, and you've captured the felt so well. More aminal cookies for you.
