i like brussel sprouts, and you can all kiss my ring! lol joking :p Id say van goghs sunflowers were only intermediate but that paintings worth millians! I think the 3 galleries should be called 1 2 and 3 because some quick sketchy drawings can also be advanced. The galleries should be judged on time spent, so the more effert you put in the longer they stay on the board. |

from a photo I took of the sofa in the front room a couple of days ago. I liked the light, I have a thing for light.

mmm, idk...i think its more the detail of the rug, the shadow of the plant, some light source reflecting over the couch, the way he gave the couch such a comfy plush feeling with a few brush strokes...how if you look every line, every stroke, seems almost careless because his eye for light and form is so phenomenal, he doesnt need to second guess or overwork it. i don't think many people can appreciate how amazing this picture is.

I do see what you mean..I was just cutting up....the couch does look velvety soft...and i especailly like the vent cover there.....it does belong in showcase..

In honor of finally getting my license.This canvas seems like a behemoth to me. o.o Gaw-lee, the proportions on this are hard. I will, however, fight with this until this is awesome. EDIT: Three and a half years later, it's still sitting in my studio. The original reference was an old advert that I had framed, and lost in a move. If anybody wants to have a wack at it, you're more than welcome. I may finish... It's a lot harder without the original reference, but I'll try! ^^

Thanks 4 the comments guys... ~.~ I know that I need to improve my work... It was fun draw that and I just wanted to u guys feel the same seeing that drawing as I feelt drawing it.That is not my very best and because of that I will keep going in hunt of it... -.- I will be more modest next time.

Well, it's a hell of a lot better than some crap in Advanced lately (from no0bs) Just a bit more work and I think this fits fine here in Advanced. But if you need to get the hang of the tools and appelets Beginners is recommended. Though you have the talent that's for sure. Welcome, and keep it up.
