Hehe, cute picture here :). I think those tin cans are just trying to spare the lives of their friend fishies, you know, sacrificing themselves instead.

By the way, while I'm here, I should probably also mention that I found that I haven't returned that book to you. I thought I did, but it was amongst the pile of stuff on my desk lol. Remind me to return it to you the next time you visit! Otherwise, it'll forever be a part of the modern art piece I got going with all the other stuff it's sitting with :P.
lori (Jul 13, 2007)
this is cute :) My one fishing attempt was scary.. my son was trying to show me what to do, and I was casting my line into the water and I hooked my son's cheek! :/ Haven't tried again since.
Sweetcell (Jul 13, 2007)
I kept meaning to comment on this but forgot. It's really a sweet picture and makes you think about how much junk is thrown into our waters. She looks so sad. If she get's enough though she can take them to the nearest recycling depot and get her money back for the amount she spent on the worms, plus. :D

Ouch Lori, hope it wasn't too bad.
Qwerty_Wittle_Fawah (Aug 8, 2007)
:-) That is sooo cute! I can't really fish...but that is ok

I still have this undeniable desire to see you do a very in-depth landscape. Could you? Would you do it for me?
Dr.Moony (Jul 10, 2007)
Has a lot of tension. good stuff :)
I always imagine these paintings as a part of something much larger. Like a texture. I enjoy that focus.

so hurry up and friggin' bury her, and let me know if I can be her "stand in' I want a pale pink chiffon skirt over my leotard and tights, and gold sparkley ballet shoes... and a tiara, of course. Oh yeah, although I still have great eyelashes of my own, I have to insist on false ones, really, really thick ones with lots of eyeliner, and I want my hair slicked back in a really tight bun.... And that dorky guy in tights that's supposed to catch me, he better be good. <:) When do we start? *silent moment for Emily* Now, let's get cracking, people, shall we? :D
davincipoppalag (Jul 10, 2007)

Now she looks like an actress, I couldn't tell you which one but she looks familiar.
Evil looking, and just the right person for the crazy guy.
I like how the lipstick can look like smudged lipstick or blood, cause ya know, she's all evil.
concannon (Jul 11, 2007)
Aw, Klox, you're amazing! Thank you! :D <3 She'd be some heck of competition for Harley Quinn.
Kloxboy (Jul 11, 2007)
You're welcome VV, your drawing on DA inspired me.

Very nice portrait. Great expression.
Sweetcell (May 27, 2007)
I see an amalgamation of Jake and a young (Mad Max) Gibson. Jeeeyah, what an expression. :)
fleeting_memory (May 28, 2007)
lookin really good so far!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 10, 2007)
It looks like a very young Mel Gibson to me. Regardless who it might be, it is very well done. I'm finding myself being very attracted to your art, in general.

Beautiful drawing Tammy I love the bubbles
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 10, 2007)
Very pretty, I really enjoy viewing this. You did a wonderful job on the flowers and the bubbles/dewdrops. It's nice to have some good art to look at here, once again.
Sweetcell (Jul 10, 2007)
Agreed agreed. Look at dem bubbles, so transluscent. Now I wanna pop em. :)

Howdy Christine, it's been a while, how's life? Cool web page, even if AOL is an absolute evil. :P

Nice portrait, you should draw here more often.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jul 9, 2007)
Nice to see you here again, people seem to come and go, but mostly... they go... :(. I was browsing your work from the link you provided... Is there a way to view the paintings enlarged? I tried to find a way, but couldn't seem to be able to view any of them larger.

I am terribly in love with "Breakfast" :) It is simply beautiful in such an honest, innocent way. You have such a down to earth style, I love it. I'll have to keep up with your "comings and goings" now. :D
cmb (Jul 10, 2007)
Lol all- I have a Myspace account, I have some pictures posted there, my main problem is I dont have a decent camera and the breakfast painting photo was taken some years ago- it was a commissioned piece and the owner has moved away, but I always loved it. im trying some new stuff at the moment- combining digital drawings with acrylic paintings- some look better than others- once the exhibition is up I promise to try and draw more here! regards

Now it's smooth and exuberant, and still happy! Not "another sunny day" today, It rained a little bit, but I'm just thankful it wasn't a lot. Somebody needs to close the sky and pull the plug on the lake here... * glub, glub* :)

I love this painting.
psychofox0 (Jul 8, 2007)
this is really good. Her smile kinda scares me, but I like the expression.
fleeting_memory (Jul 9, 2007)
I love the granulated feeling of the shading. Awesome.
Morggey (Jul 9, 2007)
Ah... I was hoping to see this finished! Both your revisions already captured the emotion so well. I love how you left the shading grainy, like an old photograph. It looks great! There are a couple of spots that seem rougher than the rest around the bottom and edges of her nose. Other than that, it's a very lovely picture. Kudos. =)
