It has a bit of a caricature effect to it, and it's fun to look at. :)

If you finish this one like the skinny celeb with big glasses spoof somewhere in your gallery, you will be the best :D.

My choir director taught kristen bell in highschool. Studied private voice as her voice teacher.

I've never actually seen Copics before so as far as I'm concerned, those are jellybeans! =D
so tasty...
Axil62 (Nov 24, 2007)
No no no! That's very bad!
Miss_DJ (Nov 25, 2007)
to me only a couple are jellybeanish. The rest are too flat. I know, cuz I know my jellybeans.
deathking (Dec 1, 2007)
They look like the marker cap of prisma markers (copics are slightly wider and more squarish)

I am relatively new to electronic drawing and so using the tools is out of my comfort zone. I usually try to create effects just by using paint & color, even when drawing electronically. I am amazed at the effects that artists create with these tools. I gave it my best try, and I hope I can continue to learn and use the tools to improve my art.

This drawing was done on the Lascaux board, using the following tools: layers, straight line, curve line, oval, filled oval, rectangle, filled rectangle, blend, blur, dodge, & burn. I tried to use as many of the tools as there were available for the board. I wanted to use the magic wand for something, but I still don't understand how or when I would use that tool.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments & feedback, and thanks Sweetcell for considering my picture in the running for 1st. I am honored to have placed 2nd. I am learning so much on this site and am inspired by all of the great artists here.

you are so good at glass jp. I love the chipped stopper - I used to have one just like that . . .
montezmaria (Jan 14, 2009)
Okay, this is awesome. That marble blows me away. You have some wonderful work here and I'm so glad I'm having a chance to see the rest of it that I haven't already seen. Excellent!

Cool... I would "soooo toootally" :) hang this in the room in my house that's decorated in a beach theme. Love the colors.
Sketcher_V (edited Nov 18, 2007)
thanks both of you! although i know there is much definition needed to make it great... even though, i think the shaky lines gives it a watery effects, so i wont retouch it.

It took me a few seconds to see the mask-like face the bird is sitting on (probably because I keep my monitor set so much darker than everyone else), but when I did... I immediately thought of something my Mammy used to say to me when I was little and I'd ask... "How do you know?"... and she'd say " A little bird told me." :)
Wraith (Nov 16, 2007)
Hey this is cool Lori! LOL @ the little bird!
davincipoppalag (Nov 16, 2007)
The mask has been cast off and the spirit has become a little bird looking to the bright skies in the distance. New beginnings.Very creative

I know, I noticed that,.... that's why I keep bringing it up. I WANT OUT OF HERE. Stop playing stupid old man bank games with dumb jokes (the trolls don't have dust, it's the fairies that have the dust, anyway)
davincipoppalag (Nov 16, 2007)
I'll stick with the twigs while you dust the fairys
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Nov 16, 2007)
This is the very last time I ever play "Trolls and Fairies" with boys (or old men) or whatever. :D
enjoydotcom (Nov 16, 2007)
:D Wish I was around to play with the trolls and fairies. To be quite honest, a troll was already playing here. A grumpy one.
Anyhoot, it must be the pink, but it looks like an organic window.
