...far away
EyeOfSauron (Aug 14, 2005)
cant argue with that! I personally think that this would look better without the girl but that's just my opinion. It's an incredible piece of art.
Miss_DJ (Aug 14, 2005)
yep you are the Queen of Sky..there's no question! also been browsin through a bunch of yer cowboy art..excellent, excellent!
fleeting_memory (Aug 15, 2005)
nice sky-it almost rivals Icats' skies. Very nice effect
LasRever (Aug 18, 2005)
Beautiful. The bright colors of the sky contrast nicely with the dark earthtones of the hills and cross, which also makes the girls in the white dress stand out. Nicely done :D |

Good one to end this with, because I am burned out.
Kloxboy (Aug 9, 2005)
DBA: You can't please everyone, I think you confused Tittybuster. For someone who referred to you as a guy and spelled your initials "DRZ", he's in no position to question your actions for this piece. He's been here way too long not to know who the hell you are.Tittybuster: Bill O'Reilly sucks! :)
darkshadow (Aug 9, 2005)
Lets go blow stuff up I know it’s not the 4th any more but, do we really need a reason to shot them off. I am a pyromaniac and love those damn things. Great pic DBA I think I have some fire works I was trying to save, I guess I will shot them a little early *: runs to set stuff up evil giggle the whole time :*
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Aug 9, 2005)
lmao @ Clox.
Turtlebuster (Aug 26, 2005)

you're so cold, keep yourhand in mine ...show me how it ends, it's all right show me how defenseless you really are satisfied and empty inside well that's all right let's give this another try... you're so cold but you feel alive lay your hand on me one last time
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Aug 2, 2005)
I was feeling down, but it's not really the reason I did this. Renuar got it, though... it's something to think about... we're all gonna be there some day.
fleeting_memory (Aug 2, 2005)
this is true but sinse we're all going to get there eventually there's no reason to bother thinkin about it too much-otherwise we waste what time we do got thinking about something we will get no matter what ~.^
Miss_DJ (Sep 29, 2005)
Thought-provoking draw, excellent as usual! ....the song by the Grass Roots (am I THAT old?) comes to mind....sha, la, la, la la LET'S LIVE FOR TODAY.....and don't worry 'bout tomorrow...hey.... |

Burn 'em down, baby. While they ride, lord he tells her how they two will settle down but she only hears the highway and a voice in some other town And the harder he holds her the more she slips away.... Same old story that everybody knows it's one heart holdin' on and one letting go
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 14, 2005)
Thanks, Dave, it's nice of you to always comment even though the rest of us have been terrible about it and I haven't even checked your gallery lately, but I will, soon. He's not all mine, I think he belongs to Trisha Yearwood now. lol
davincipoppalag (Jul 14, 2005)

I love the way you did the clothes. But my favorite bit has to be the floor and the reflections. Great work, Cindy! :-)

Murders comin' right up.David: (I'm gonna do those in a different file so as to keep the space down) Let me know when you've captured it so I can scale it down again. For viewing here I think it looks best if you view it at 75%
Cordelia_Pink (Jun 24, 2005)
This makes me think of Yoda's powerful words: "See through you, we can." Cool! "The eye IS the window to a person's soul."
Renuar (edited Jul 5, 2005)
Beautiful iris, I feel like swimming :) -- Eyes have a language of their own.

Gigandas (edited Jun 19, 2005)
Ooh, this is pretty nice. The texture really does wonders to the eye you drew. Almost reminds me of one of those make-up commercials/advertisements.Edit: Hi DBA!
Xodiak (Jun 19, 2005)
This is... real! <:O|XOD|
safescene (Jul 6, 2005)

In the town where I was raisedClock ticks and the cattle graze Time passed with Amazing Grace Back where I come from You can lie on a river bank Paint your name on a water tank Miscount all the beers you drank Back where I come from Back where I come from Where I'll be when it's said and done Well, I'm proud as anyone That's where I come from We learned in Sunday school, who made the sun shine through know who made the moon shine, too Back where I come from Blue eyes on a Saturday night Tan legs in the broad daylight TV's, they were black and white Back where I come from....

Waves... pulsating, whispering, hypnotic. Irresistible... warm and soothing. Until the rip tide tears you under and drags you into the cold, dark water.
davincipoppalag (Jun 13, 2005)
Beautiful..you captured the movement and the interplay of light in the water.. good one
starmarked (Jun 13, 2005)

I went to work for her that summerA teenage kid so far from home She was a lonely widow woman Hell-bent to make it on her own We were a thousand miles from nowhere Wheat fields as far as I could see Both needing something from each other Not knowing yet what that might be 'Til she came to me one evening Hot cup of coffee and a smile In a dress that I was certain She hadn't worn in quite a while There was a difference in her laughter There was a softness in her eyes And on the air there was a hunger Even a boy could recognize That summer wind was all around me Nothin' between us but the night When I told her that I'd never She softly whispered that's alright And then I watched her hands of leather Turn to velvet in a touch There's never been another summer When I have ever learned so much We had a need to feel the thunder To chase the lightning from the sky To watch a storm with all its wonder Written in each other's eyes She had to ride the heat of passion Like a comet burning bright Rushin' headlong in the wind Now where only dreams have been Burnin' both ends of the night I often think about that summer The sweat the moonlight and the lace And I have rarely held another When I haven't seen her face And every time I pass a wheat field And watch it dancing with the wind Although I know it isn't real I just can't help but feel Her hungry arms again Garth Brooks - "That Summer"
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 12, 2005)
