I started this months ago i just wanted to empty my gallery, i'm not doing a self portrait nobody wants to see a pair of huge dimples grinning back at them.
dorothyblueeyes (Feb 24, 2010)
no, I know this picture is not easy to do, you just make it look easy. The white is hard to convey, and also the water. Very elegant and beautiful.
firecracker (Feb 24, 2010)
You don't want to do a self portrait flubadub.......because you look so much like "Spanky" of the "lil rascals"......with your dimples......"lolzzz"...:P I do luv this swan though......beautiful draw!! :)

dotdalidot (Feb 14, 2010)
Bears are godless killing machines, but you've somehow managed to make this one look very cute. I'm impressed.

These cars remind me of the little toy cars that my brother and I would play with when we were little kids....

did you use a reference photo for this or was this from your window? cause if you did use a photo, it would be easier to give constructive comments to you if we could see it... but im gonna try anyway. just keep in mind that im not that good at drawing environments myself, so take anything i say with a grain of salt, so to speak :P
Here i go... What i would like to see is some more depth separating the objects. Especially the upper part of the trees from the background. Now they look pretty flat, but if you maybe darkened the street at the upper area of the image the trees would pop out a bit more. Or you could use a sharper brush to paint the leafs around the upper edges of the trees. Or you could instead add some more details at the street at the upper part of the image.
Also i think the street would look a bit more like it was raining if you added some small bright dots here and there on the street, but don't over do it, just a few bright spots.

Frigidaire?um,Sears?Man,half of the world's population? Is that, human,or animals?lions can't own em,I guess, people don't either?there's enough of em,the old fashioned ones,to very much f____ up the ozone.New ones don't do that, but, they also can be a child-hazard,the old ones.My mom's family had an "icebox",they put ice in it,in a compartment,to keep the food cold.A student from Oman told me,her family kept their water in a huge tank, kinda like a huge pottery thing,to keep their water collected, and cool.Yeah,no fridge for it.So,you're right.Very good fridge, you are now up to Leitchenstein,or Warhol,or one of those guys. I'm reflecting that, I am so dependent on my fridge,I would not know how to live without it. Spoiled milk, yogurt, eggs,Brewer's yeast, lettuce, tomatoes, thawed out turkey, bagels, how do they live without one?
firecracker (Jan 27, 2010)
nice fridge.....:)
