As you should know, 2draw.net is a completely free website, free of banners, popups, or any kind of advertising. Hopefully it will stay this way for as long as possible.
However, it's not free to run 2draw.net. There are bandwidth and server costs associated with running a serious website. The server costs tend to stay the same, but bandwidth increases as more users visit 2draw.net.
So to help offset the cost of running this site, donations are appreciated.
Donation Conditions
So, you're interested in donating to 2draw.net? Before donating, please read the following notice, because not everyone is eligible to donate.
Eh? But I'm trying to give you money here.
The conditions are fairly straightforward and mainly intended to keep me from feeling guilty about taking any money.
The first condition is that you've been an active member of 2draw.net for at least a few months, and have contributed either drawings or comments. This doesn't apply to anonymous donations.
The second condition is that there are no strings attached to the donation. Donations are not intended to have any more meaning than keeping the site running. If you have a request, feel free to make it, but making a donation won't increase the odds of it being done.
The third condition isn't really a condition, but instead, an understanding you should have before donating. Although donations are appreciated, as far as your status on this site, no special treatment will be made to donators. If your drawing sucks, it will still suck after you donate.
You cannot buy good comments or immunity from moderation. If this is why you are donating, please, keep your money.
Donation Methods
Currently, 2draw.net only has one online method of making donations, through PayPal.
It should be noted that PayPal takes a fee out of every donation. For USD, they take 2.9% and $0.30. PayPal also supports the following currencies and similarly takes fees of Canadian, C $0.55, Euros, €0.35, Pound Sterling, £0.20, and Yen, ¥40, plus they all take 3.4%. So if you can, use USD.
So, math aside, if you were to donate $1, 2draw.net would get 66 cents, and if you were to donate $5, 2draw.net would get $4.55. (Feel free to use the handy formula: amount you would need to send through PayPal = (amount 2draw gets + 0.30) divided by 0.971.)

Anonymous donations basically mean you don't want your name listed anywhere on the site as a donator. Your privacy will be respected, and your email address will be protected and only be used to make the transaction.
If you want to donate by check or money order, please e-mail me first. Don't bother unless you're donating at least $20 via this method, since it's more complicated for me. |
