he looks familiar but I can't place the face. Good looking work here Giselle
Flubbles (Jun 26, 2008)
Looking great, i wanna move into a more relaxed style like this myself.Theres more emotion and movement, sometimes by painting a picture you can capture more life into it than actually taking a photograph.Ive looked through your gallery a few times, your one of my faves here.
Sweetcell (Jun 26, 2008)
He looks like a writer, but I can't be certain who.
PolythenePam (Jun 26, 2008)
He is a writer of sorts, or a poet rather. But it doesn't look like him much, that's why it's not finished.

Thank you very much for your kind words, Flubbles :)
Flubbles (Jun 26, 2008)
It looks a little like jeff goldblum, im probobly wrong though :P
davincipoppalag (Sep 26, 2009)
He looks a bit like Victor Borge too
firecracker (Sep 26, 2009)
He doesn't look like anybody that I know......good draw though.....:)
PolythenePam (Sep 26, 2009)
it's leonard cohen
cyclops (Sep 26, 2009)
ahhh...i was just going to write that.
backmagicwoman (Sep 26, 2009)
Looks good...
firecracker (edited Sep 26, 2009)
"Leonard Cohen"??? I would never have guessed that. He has a very unusual style of singing......I've always kinda liked his version of the song "Suzanne". It's kind of a strange sad song.....but I like listening to the way he sings it. I have that song on a 45rpm record that I bought years ago. I also have it as one of my "favorites" at youtube. Cool draw.....but I didn't recognize him. :)
Suntan (Sep 26, 2009)
ah another great one. always cool stuff.
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
I left a link on here to suzanne by him the other day
davincipoppalag (Sep 26, 2009)
He wrote it and many have performed it.
jekyll (Sep 26, 2009)
For what it's worth, Pam, I just logged in and knew this was Leonard strait away! Great job!!!
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
In my defence it does look a little like jeff goldblum.
PolythenePam (Sep 26, 2009)
Yeah, I know, I totally see it so I know where you're all coming from. I watched The Fly the other day.
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
Yea it's a great film.I cant say the same about fly ll though, although it wasn't completely shitty, it wasn't in the same league as the first one.
PolythenePam (Sep 26, 2009)
I haven't seen fly II, it looks pretty bad. Cronenberg's body horror is so fantastic.
backmagicwoman (edited Sep 26, 2009)
The first one is definitely the best of the two..I am a huge horror fan...ok..going to eat..be back in a bit....
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
It's a shame cronenberg doesn't do horrors anymore... he was so good at it.He's more into psychological thrillers these days.If you watched a cronenburg horror there was sure to be some sex scenes and some shocking violence entwined together in some kind of surreal way.
PolythenePam (Sep 26, 2009)
yeah, I'm normally not into horror, I have a pretty weak stomach but his was so hideously masterful there were more levels on which to appreciate it.
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
I like all types of films.Yesterday i watched hostel then straight after i watched nick and norahs infinite playlist.
PolythenePam (Sep 26, 2009)
Oh, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is totally my kind of movie. I really like Hallam Foe too and In My Father's Den. Actually a film's soundtrack has a huge bearing on whether i'll like it or not.
Flubbles (edited Sep 26, 2009)
I've watched hallam foe i really liked it , did you watch billy elliot with jamie bell in? that was his first ever film he did.Not watched in my fathers den yet... but i've heard it's really good.I watched juno again earlier, i really like those down to earth real life kind of films.
Have you watched notes on a scandel before? that was pretty good.
backmagicwoman (Sep 26, 2009)
Clive Barker is the king of erotic horror...
firecracker (Sep 26, 2009)
I think my sister is the queen of erotic horror......"lolz!! Seriously.....my sister has read more horror books than anyone I know.....she likes Clive Barker books, and Anne Rice, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, etc. She has stacks of books in her room. I like horror movies better than reading books. I used to like to read books.....but my eyes bother me too much anymore.....so I haven't read any good books lately. One of the "creepiest" movies that I ever saw was a movie that my sister and I watched on tv.......it was called "Death Proof", and it was one of Quentin Tarentino's movies.....it was really a cool movie.....Kurt Russel starred in it. If you never saw that movie.....I recommend seeing it...."LOL"!! :D
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
Death Proof is crappy, a film so profoundly dull, so relentlessly misguided, so criminally self-indulgent i almost feel bad criticising it. It’s like kicking a man on crutches. or punching a blind person in the face. The only thing worth watching is the car chase at the end.
backmagicwoman (Sep 26, 2009)
The Midnight Meat Train is excellent...
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
I think tarentino is great, but death proofs an out and out dud.I'm sure you mentioned midnight meat train on here before, i might have to make a mental note to watch it some time.
backmagicwoman (Sep 26, 2009)
It's very good..It's adapted from the Books of Blood by Clive Barker...and if you like to read..i recommend The Damnation Game by him as well...
Flubbles (Sep 26, 2009)
I'm not a big reader.If i read it's normally a biography, i find them quite interesting.
backmagicwoman (Sep 26, 2009)
I usually prefer horror..or more darkly oriented children's books..and sometimes historical fiction..depending on the subject matter....Read one a while back called The Historian..relly enjoyed it...
firecracker (Sep 26, 2009)
I never heard of "Midnight Meat Train"....it sounds good though. I really liked the car chase at the end of "Death Proof" too.....but I really liked the whole movie.....I thought it was one of Tarentino's better movies. One of the reasons why I liked it was because Kurt Russel was in it.....I've always liked him, even though he gets killed in this movie....."lolz"!! :)
