oh my godness...and it is not yet finished? matteo ..you`re a genius of drawing ..and this is such a lovely drawing to receive from someone so talented as you are.Sidera is lucky.the reflections, the piano keys, everything looks amazing so far.and it can be seen that you put lots of emotions, too,in it .every stroke is so precise.congratulations for this wonderful masterpiece, matteo.
it doesn`t matter , drawing from references includes sometimes emotions, too,as long as you like the photo subject . :-) . once again,me piace , one of my favorite drawings from all drawing websites :).
This is a masterpiece! Every detail is perfect .... and I agree with Roxy, your ability to see and reflect back this image is a huge part of your artistic gift! We all use references, until we we thoroughly learn a subject and even then we may need to use references for lighting or composition or other details to surround the subject. This piece screams love and talent, beauty and passion! Bravo! This is beyond magnificent!
bravo...magnifico! This may sound strange, but if Andea Bocelli could see this, it would be hanging in his home. THAT'S how nice it is...as fabulous as he sings, this speaks volumes.
SPEECHLESS..out of breath!! S*** this is the best drawing I've seen on here...it is such a beauty, I can't believe my eyes! Man you are really a master of art!! *faints!!! Bravo :)
This is sooooooooo beautiful. Looking at the keys of the piano and seeing the porcelin shine on the keys is magic. The colors of the brilliant red that is almost see through is blowing me away. Oh how I wish I could this this!
I went over the comments 3 or 4 times to see what my comment was... I can't believe I didn't comment on this. Absolutely one of the best. I really love looking at it. So beautiful.
Wowzas! I know my commenting is late, but I only joined a couple days ago xD Any way, I love this picture. I could just stare at it for hours and hours! It has so much detail, all the time you put into it was not wasted at all.
This is one of my favorite pieces here, so why did I never comment it? Well, better late than never.
Everything about this is absolutely stunning; the lighting, the reflections, and even the textures are done perfectly. It seems like if I could touch it, the keys would be cold and smooth and the petals would be soft, just like they should be. Even the tiny dust specks are a subtle but lovely detail. You really went all out for this, and it shows.
I dont think it's the best thing ever drawn, but the light is lovely.I keep trying to find a piano key draw reference myself but i cant find one i like.
Thanks for your comments people, I'm really honored for you love! Mayby all'make another one one day, when I'll find back inspirations, free head and time to do it. :)
fantastic. i'm sure you could work from setups, too, the real objects.-- if you don't already. (why are there all these great artists here, after most my drawing career is almost over? i have done scratchboards similar to this, & you have to use photo reference cause scratchboard is so detailed. it's an old medium, but you would be good at it, yer work is so perfect. i love this.
Yes, it's coming from a photo, I wrote it somewhere in previous messages.
Human brain can't elaborate all minimal light/ghadows variation of the reality, we can't always recognize where we should use white in shadow or grey in light. Human brain it's able to understand what is Blue (just for example), also if red enlighted, but if this light it's strong, you can simulate it in a draw, if it's light, mixed ti shadow variations and other ambient color minilam reflections, you can't!
In a Photo there is not he same color in two different zones, also if there is the same material/object/paint and light!
To do that work, we need a reference pic. At least up to today I can't really think some one do it without a Photo reference.
And again, thenks to all!
