I can't seem to achieve the sketch quality I'd like to because my tablet PC isn't very sensitive and the pen keeps skipping. I'm not sure why this is happening but it's frustrating.
I totally sympathize... I like drawing on real media for the same reason- Tablet just doesn't always react the same way you want it to. I think for what it's worth, your sketch still looks quite sketch-y. :)
Dave: I don't dislike the sketch, I just know I could have achieved this quality with a lot less effort had my equipment/program worked properly. The skipping and globs are a very -real- problem, unlike so many others I've read listed on this site. ;)
this is an extremely well executed drawing.....problems or not....it is wonderful.
Not sure if you can fix it or not, but when I first got my new computer mine was acting up also. My husband and I futzed and futzed and then found that we had to reinstall the tablet and then I found on the control panel a place where you can set the tablet to different touches of your stylist by trial and error sort of. I am not very good at explaining it.....I would have to do the process all over again to tell you for sure as it was several weeks ago and I possess an old fart brain. Good luck and keep drawing, you are excellent at it.

Sometimes I feel like the computer is just not made for sketchy things, and it makes me a bit sad.
