My neighbor died recently, he was 92. I used to go over to their house and play with their cats Sammy Davis Jr. and George a lot and just talk, too.

Lee had a keen interest in history, was a great reader, and was an early member of the Civil War Roundtable of Kansas City. He loved pets, and raised several generations of Siamese cats: Sherman Plunkett and Georges I, II and III. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 67 years, Maxine Kennard, and his children. Lee leaves behind many friends of all generations. He was beloved for his ready wit and gentle spirit. He would often remark to overweight people 'Go to weight watchers!' and would always have stories to tell and nicknames for people that always changed.

"The days over, time to go home."

92 years is a long time! wow! l It's still very sad he died though...
What a sweet tribute! I bet he would have been very happy to see this.

Copy + paste what everybody above said. Gosh, 92, what a great age, can't bear the think how his wife must feel.
