The hell is -your- problem, Axil? Unless you're just trying to be funny and I've failed to see the humor? Otherwise, quit posting nasty comments on other people's artwork. Jackass.
*cough*
TaCO, this is neat, I really like the different effects in the colouring you've used, and it's even interesting to look at - even though you're just playing with the applet at the moment. I really like the combination of red and dullish purples in the right hand side of the imagine. The left looks a little... incoherent.
It's still really pretty. I love it when artists step outside their normal comfort zone and play with their tools. It's so fascinating to see what people come up with . ^_^
Axil, cut the crap. You're a decent human being when you want to be. You're also a pretty decent artist and you should know at this is point that just blatantly stating that someone else's work sucks is pretty damn rude. This is pretty well the end of this conversation, because someone's artwork doesn't need to become the forum for an argument and apparently, you're just another troll. A talented one, but still a troll. Go play your games somewhere else and grow up.
this does suck..im all for experimenting with tools and color and crap but what kind of comments would you expect on a piece like this? lets all pat him on the back and give a gold star for little to no effort. sorry, derrick's been playing at 2draw too long for that.
Were it not an abstract type work of art, you might be able to point out specific horrid mistakes and determine for certain that this "sucks". As it is, I think it has to be determined individually on the basis of opinion.
I viewed this more than once before the previous comments, and I thoroughly enjoyed looking at it. Sometimes I do that and I'm too lazy or busy to comment...but I'm making time now. In the left portion I saw what could be the reflection of statues and women at an ancient Roman bath, and on the right side, I saw what kind of resembled the rocks in Monument Valley at sunset in the warm colors he used... I like art that sparks my imagination, which this did. The fact that he drew it vertically and I had to turn my head sideways to make it horizontal so my imaginative pictures would work and I got a crick in my neck made it uncomfortable, but even more interesting. :)
before you deleted that and commented again, I had commented after you saying that I would let you correct me, that it would be more fun that way, and then when I hit submit it said I couldn't double post...(and whaddaya know, when I got back here again you had already taken the opportunity) Actually, I think what I intended to say was "I am entitled to it and to express it..." but what you said works, too - now I can't fix it because I can't remember which thing I was thinking. Oh well.
You actually didn't say anything, did you? I guess I assumed that you were pointing out that I had transposed "it" and "express", which is the way I would have determined that it needed correcting if I were you, or anyone else reading it... (which I very well may have)... but since I'm me, when I read it again, I first noticed the transposed words and then when I read it back to myself I also thought the version of the sentence that I typed in the previous comment.
Wait.... I think I know what I did... I thought the second version of the sentence as well as the first version while I was typing it, (which is probably why I transposed the words), went with the shorter version because we all know I talk way too much, so I try to condense things sometimes...
just sometimes
hah.....
pos.? post? you can delete your own comment post, of course...
posting of the entry? you're asking (no, wait, "telling"... there's no question mark and not even a PLEASE!!!) someone to delete what? this piece of Derrick's art? I'm confused. (nothing new, but)
surely it isn't the abbreviation for a really ugly thing pos is used for... surely not. In that case it would be p.o.s.... right?
Oh what the hell, I might as well jump in too. I am guessing Axil doesn't like it cuz the 'TOOLS' were used to create it. He doesn't like tool draws..(of course, SOME tools are acceptable), but the ones that created this art don't appeal to him...(this is all theory, of course).
I like the colors/textures you've created. It's fun to play with the tools and see what you can create, isn't it? After all, Marcello took the time/effort to make them available to use, so why not use them, eh?

Can't wait to see more from you, as usual. <3
TaCO, I'm awake now, and I still like it. :)
You guys stop fighting will you? :P
I wasn't really expecting comments.
