ANNOUNCEMENT: 2Draw needs a new Contest Board Moderator.

Kloxboy is leaving the Contest Board and we need a new contest board moderator to replace him. If you would like to be the replacement, please memo Kloxboy with your request, along with an explanation as to why you would like to be a contest moderator. Your request will be reviewed by Sweetcell, Marcello and Kloxboy. if you're the right fit for the job, we will set you up with the appropriate account and instructions. You'll be co-moderating with Sweetcell. FYI: Kloxboy will continue taking care of prizes through Oddica T-shirts.

Before you send your request, please read the following...

As a contest board moderator, your duties will include:

- Creating and judging a contest each month on the Contest Board.
- Posting contest winners on the "Welcome to the 2draw Contest Board!" page.
- Selecting 1 Showcase entry every 10 contests.
- Granting space for contest entries.
- General moderating duties on the contest board (basically, keeping the peace and helping those who request it).

Skills and Other Requirements:

- Must be proficient with the niftyToo markup system.
- Should have good art judging skills, as well, good understanding of the Judging Criteria (as seen on every contest).
- Have been a 2Draw member for 3 months or longer.
- Must be an Intermediate Level (or higher) artist on 2Draw. This is an art contest judged by artists.
- Must have the time to do this! If you can't at least log-in 3-4 times a week, this job isn't for you.


Contest Week 59: Love & Hate Hybrid *Two week contest.

Your goal these next two weeks is to draw something or someone you love and combine that with something or someone you hate (or at least really dislike). You must pick one person and one thing, you can't combine 2 people or combine 2 things, it has to be one of each, which one is love and which one is hate is up to you. You're making a hybrid of the 2 subjects, so you'll need to compose them together somehow, pretend you're a mad scientist making a surreal mutant. :) The "something" you pick can be anything but a person, it can be a place, an object, an animal, an alien, a cartoon, an idea, a word, a smell, anything but a person (human being). The person can be anyone, dead or alive but they must be human and they must be real, no imaginary friends (although, that would fall under the "something" category). Don't copy other artists work and have fun. :)

For example - I might use one of the following combinations, have fun guessing which one is love and which is hate:

E-mail spam & my grandpa

George Bush & 2Draw

Chocolate & Bill O'Reilly

Christian evangelicalism & my mother

Technique & Effort: The amount of style, skill and craft that was put into the entry.
Following the Theme: How well the entry followed the theme of the contest.
