Actually, it's excellent for a first. Your proportions are a tad off, but that'll improve...I like that you tried experimenting with shading and stuff, that's a ton better than my first! Welcome to 2draw!

Spelling is easily fixed by reading, and drawing is fixed by practice. And learning from others, indeed... you seemed to learn well. I used to read a book a week and now I actually think spelling and grammar is FUN... eyaah, that's scary.
