For some reason it reminds me a of the rusted cityscapes of new york - you know, fire escapes, that kind of stuff? Like looking down into a dilapidated metropolis.

Maybe not, but I wanted to say dilapidated metropolis.

I really admire your use of color, it's always fascinating to see what you'll put together.

This looks like the inside of an Art Deco hotel lobby. Large frosted glass doors with the sweeping lines classic to Art Deco decore with round stairs leading to a sunken lobby floor with a glass bottom. If this place were real, I would want to stay there. One of my fave's.
