The Manga Oekaki Board is having a huge restoration project. All of our good oekaki artists are leaving and the quality of our 11-Stars Board (Or advanced board) is declining. We are currently cleaning up all the artwork not up to par and searching for great artists to come help us renovate. So, if you are a talented artist, come by and oekaki a couple times!

Oekaki advertising on a draw site, now I'm all for trying out other sites (and I have) but maybe you could have been more subtle.

Or I'm full of shit in which case I should be ignored.

I was thinking about trying it, but then I read the One Oekaki per member, per day rule. When I'm in a drawing mood it'd be annoying to have to stop after one drawing >_>

Well, usually I spend about 5 hourse per oekaki. I do it over a span of 1-3 days saved on Escrow. I thought that rule was annoying until I started putting effort into my oekakis. Then I got to the point where it was near-impossible to do more than one oekaki per day.

Forget my full of shit remark, went there, looked around, don't like it. Why are the thumbnails so damn small? An high end? Not from what I saw. You want high end? Go look at the showcase. I agree with Lore, please spam somewhere else.

Sweet, you're so right, small icons. And it is too much effort to see works of other artists.

Not every artist needs 5 hours to complete an oekaki of advanced level.

I'd like to say that I am a member of 2draw.net and I am NOT here to advertise. I enjoy drawing here and the Lascaux applet is great. I made a careful note of what board I posted on. The board discription stated, "General art related discussion. Discuss drawing, painting, etc.. Advise, be advised, discuss."

If you guys don't like the oekaki, I don't blame you. It's just really falling apart nowadays and it'd be nice if just one magnanimous artist would pop by for a great draw.

There is o need to hold your self up arrogantly and be pompous. If it is not in your best interest, fine, but there may be someone out there who could help.

Terrible setup. I really dislike the TINY thumbnails.

I hold to my comment.
Thumbnails - too small.
Art - low end, and mostly anime, I have nothing agianst it but I'd feel out of place.
And one draw per day? Screw that, I do a lot of pictures that take hours and many that take half hour or less. No, thank you bu no.

I like your oekaki site.

I think the general idea is that this person is saying- "Hey guys, I'm also a member of this other oekaki site over here too, and since you all like drawing like that then maybe you'd like to give it a try?"

I know it's coming across as spam, since it is basically an advertisement for another site, but since this person also draws here as well and didn't make their account simply to advertise, let's turn down the rudeness a few notches.

remember, it's not like none of our members have never posted a thread here asking about other oekaki sites since some people like variety and want to try other sites too.

I find that I agree with Redpanda, though in all honesty, this is the internet. I don't really expect to be treated like a human being.
