enjoydotcom: Thanks. For me, art is best when it's honest and to the point, not necessarily good but pure in it's nature. When I'm in a highly emotional state, be it happy, sad, mad, etc., I get inspired to paint. It's awesome because my emotions take over and blind me so I can just let go of the external world and create and react. My best pieces were made while in a highly emotional state. This particular piece was inspired by a low level of emotion and was more an exploitation of my love for hot pink and purple. I'm not exactly sure what expression is on this creatures face but it looks positive to me...sort of. :D

These would be great designs for monsters in a movie. He also looks like he's popping out of a more demented version of a Jack in the Box. :)
