is it based on the paintings of women pilots used to paint on their aircraft in america during the second world war?

pinup girls have been around since the 20's if not earlier, in calendar form and advertisements, they've been around in one form or another for much longer. soldiers would take them out of calenders, and "pin them up" it's also called "nose art" since a lot of b-17 bombers from WWII would have them painted on the nose of the plane.

Whatever their history, pinups are awesome.

Wow, a pinup!~ It's like one of those old "I Want You!" posters that you can only find in History classrooms! A very good idea.
