I like this sharper stuff. looks like wood.
Kloxboy (Feb 13, 2007)
I think this is the best piece I've ever done on 2Draw and yes, I'm dead serious.
nobody (Feb 13, 2007)
i would have to agree with you
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 13, 2007)
It's quite good, K-boy.
HunterKiller_ (Feb 13, 2007)
I agree about this sharper stuff. Is this the Haunted Chocolate? =]
davincipoppalag (Feb 13, 2007)
Nobody does this kinda stuff better.. such feeling in these...
Axil62 (Feb 14, 2007)
sometimes I get bored with the repetitive faces in this style, but this one is way cool.
Kloxboy (Feb 14, 2007)
Thanks Dan. Keep in mind, when developing a style, it helps to be repetitive. ;)
hideyourface (Feb 14, 2007)
yeah, but your style is pretty much already established. Don't see enough progression in you work except for things like these.
SneakyWalter (Feb 14, 2007)
It's the Ghost of Hershey's past.
Kloxboy (Feb 14, 2007)
I have not established a consistent style yet. If you look at my 2Draw gallery, I've played around with a few styles for periods of time but have yet to develop my own definitive style. Developing a true style takes a lot of work and experience. True painting styles are established with mastery of a unique technique, which may take the completion of hundreds of paintings, I'm far from doing that here. I do like the style of the piece above and will develop it. If you found my work repetitive and/or non-progressive before, you'll be rather bored with my next few pieces.

In the end, I come here to draw whatever I want, be it 5,000 stick figures in a row or the greatest masterpiece of my life. :)
frootcake (Feb 14, 2007)
the white guide lines made this good. I notice you go through phases of styles of colour, even making specific features stand out. recently it's been your teeth. the looks super sharp but 3D none the less. you never try out changin the style of the noses in your pics do you? it's always that skull-like cavity...
nobody (Feb 14, 2007)
um. actually frootcake, i just looked through the last 50 or so of his pictures and i don't think your observaton on the noses is correct. actually, the noses are pretty varied and usually caricature-ish.
Kloxboy (Feb 14, 2007)
Thank you Nobody. What you -assume- is not always what -is-. It pays to actually look at my work before you guys make generalizations.
Nightmare (Feb 14, 2007)
Its like saying every single picture Axil has done is usually a cartoon.
