| | Randoodle (Jan 25, 2007) Got an old Aiptek that I can't find a driver for, to run with Linux. Don't want to go broke buying a new tablet, but also need to NOT USE A MOUSE TO DRAW WITH - OMG, My hand... So I will buy a new one if I need to, and wondered if anyone has any really sweet advice one way or the other. | |||

| | davincipoppalag (Jan 25, 2007) The Aiptek site download list doesn't show Linux as an OS...I don't know if they have one that will work.. | |||
| Proletariat (edited Jan 25, 2007) There is an open source driver for aiptek tablets here: http://aiptektablet.sourceforge.net/ This will probably require some command line configuration. I cannot vouch for it, I simply checked sourceforge (a great location for all things open source) I know that using Linux makes you a 1337 h4x0r, but I would highly encourage you, if possible, to use an operating system better suited to the task at hand such as Windows or OS X. | ||||
