Now this is what it's about, not a fat man in a suit (though in reality it's based on a Roman pagan holiday but whatever.) Might actually put a little spirit in me since it's eluded me this year. So merry merry Dave, it's been great knowing you and having you boost my ego. :)

This is a pretty picture, Mr. lag. I know what the reason for the holiday is, etc.... I just hate the stress I see people going through, and I hate the way people suffer so because they spend money they can't afford to spend. I think we should be thinking about this all year... what our life is supposed to be about.

I have actually made it a habit to buy presents for the people I love on the spur of the moment... I see something they would like, any time of the year... I buy it and wrap it in whatever color paper I feel like wrapping it in, and the next time I see them I go... "Here! Surprise! I'm giving you this gift simply because I love you." I have found that I enjoy it much more that way, and so does the person I'm giving it to... there's no stress associated with it.

PpppppppSsssss... my Daddy has tried all my life to show me how to find my way out of a desolate area (like the badlands of New Mexico, or places like the Big Bend in Texas, by observing the North Star. I just usually look up and get really dizzy and I still can't find my way. :) (not by looking at stars, I can't... I just start walking and it's usually in the right direction, somehow)

Shultsy...according to our religion, Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem and a great star shone over the place to mark that the Son of God, our Savior was born.. Usually they show the three kings who came to pay tribute to the new born King, but I chose to just show a regular person noticing the star for the first time. This is the REASON we celebrate Christmas. Happy Hannukkah by the way!
