Quick thing on layers. On the bottom of the Shi screen it says layers. Pop it open it shows layers 0, 1, 2, then you can add more. 0 usually is the bottom layer, 1 second and so forth. I describe layers as tracing paper. Every time you do something new it's on a new sheet of paper (layer). What I do is sketch on the first layer, line on the second then when I'm happy I erase my sketch and use it to color. This way the lineart still shows. Leave layer 0 for a background if you do one. If you need to add details and don't want to muss up your lineart or color layer this is where you add new layers. It sounds complicated and I hope I explained it well enough. I remember when I first came here I had no idea what it was or how to use it and I got frustrated because no one explained it to me. Hope this helps fox. I can see with more prcatice you'll be really good.
