A couple suggestions: I find Oekaki shi-painter to be a lot easier to use, and I think you should try that out. Try using layers when you color too. When you color, if you don't want it to look so sketchy, then you could always use a bigger brush size, and clean up the coloring later. Oh, and spend a little more time on your pictures.
