It looks like you're going for a soft look for this one, and I like her dress. Maybe add some highlights to her eyes and hair?

If you use less harsh outlines..and use the opacity settings when you put in highlights I think you will see more of what you are looking for...keep at it!

I wish I knew more about what to tell you.. I kinda wing it..(obviously) you should ask one of the figure people what it needs...

It's good, the nose however shouldn't be so broad. We're looking at her from a quarter view so we'd only see her right nostril and the tip of her nose sweeping up towards her brow and connecting to her left eyebrow. Make her eyes smaller and closer together, they're too far apart. Her left eye would be smaller because the nose ridge sweeping up to the brow would show it farther away. And the upper lip would be smaller than the lower lip. As well we should see more of her left cheeckbone. The eyes need to be lowered a touch as well. You have the basics of the body you just need to make the shoulder a little broader thicken the arms a little. I hope you don't take this as a critique just as a means to help. You definately know some anatomy now all you need is to practice and learn how to pull it together. Look at as many refs as you can to know the structure of the human form.
