Interesting concept.

When it is ready, a zchiff tree chooses a mate. It signals to the mate, and they both release a sac of pollen.
Cross-pollinating, and then eventually, a baby sprouts. The zchiff supports the baby until it is half its full size.
Then, the parent zchiff releases the child. The child crawls slowly along, until it finds another comfortable cliff
to settle on. It thrusts its roots and recieves the nutrients from the soil. When it is ready, the whole cycle begins
again.

It looks best at 50%.

THis one is really cool! It looks like a variety of Roy's Love the depth!
Kraisa (Aug 23, 2006)
yes yes roy is inspiring! makes me want to draw lots of trees, though this one isn't supposed to be a variation....
Violette....did you just make that up? Its neat. I could just see one of the tree babies crawling off to start its own life!! I should draw a tree baby....hmmm...

Fantastic picture, and great little story there Violette. I can hear Richard Attenbourough describing just that :D

And I was going to say something lame like a martian tree. Hers is so much better.
