Here is another creature I made up. It generally swims in rivers, lakes, and oceans. but it comes onto land to feed on the soil's nutrients by sucking it through its vine-like arms. they are quick under water but slow on land. while on land they tend to take as less time as they can because they can't fend for themselves as easily unlike when they are under water. these creatures dislike the sun. so during warm weather, like in the summer, they tend to sleep under water more often. when sleeping on warm sunny days, they sleep in shallow water because they stick their vine-like arms out of the water to absorb nutrients from the sun so they don't die from lack of nutrients while sleeping for the long periods of time when it is sunny.
