Thanks to the two talented people who were nice enough to comment and give me advice on my first oekaki.

Sort of an idea drawing for a pic I think I will expand on and color in photoshop.

I don't know how you oekaki artists do it.

This is really good. I like the way it actually looks like he's partially submerged underwater.

Oh this is well done. Like xiau said you have the effect of him partially submerged well rendered. But he looks so sad, I think he needs a friend.

One thing, and I don't mean to be mean here, but his forearm would be seen. The way it is now he has a very long upper arm. Look in a mirror and bend your arm like his, you'll see that his forearm would start just at the corner of the canvas. We'd see a lot of his inner forearm as it connects to his hand. Hope that makes sense and that you take it as advice. As well just round out his chin, unless it's supposed to be pointy than disregard.

Do more.

Thanks for the crit, I understand what you're saying. I sort of had a hard time seeing how the hand should so up. I'll do better in the future :) thanks.

I think this is GREAT. I can't belive thats all it can take for such good looking water effects. I will def keep this in mind if I ever do water Great Draw!
