It looks like it's in the middle of doing that thing that leaves do when they fall and they float on the breeze and they swing to the left and the right and the left and this one kind of paused on the fence and then it went back to swinging and floating and then it landed on the ground and then a big gust of wind came and blew it all topsy turvy a long way with a bunch of other leaves.
This reminds me of Grandpa's photography and some of the pictures he did. In fact, you've done a couple other things that sort of remind me of his work, too. Grandpa always really liked you. The thing I like about this piece is that it's so clean; clean with a simple touch of nature's beauty.
I like this LOT. It does look a lot like Dads work. I like especially the way you treated the cracks between the boards. They are not just a thick black line between the boards, they have depth, with just a little hint of light behind them. Good work son.
