Very nice. :) I actually like your dragon's head better than the original book cover. I've never read Steven Brust's books, but I used to read Dragonlance books when I was a kid, and draconians in that world were like these half-dragon, half-human guys who would turn to stone or release acidic fumes or something like that when they died.

Oooo, you so mean to me poppa..... Seriously though I'm going to do the overall sketch and a few detailed scales then paint the rest. I'm going to find the book cover online and you can see for yourself.

Thank God I found this picture, the others I found had a crappy image so I've been copying from my book using a magnifying glass and now I see what I did wrong.

NOTE: Magnifying glasses don't always show you the proper detail.
