Did some rudimentary coloring. The highlights are overly bright - I'm going to tone it down and then repaint a lot of them to balance out the picture.

Working on Stinky some more. Deepened some shadows, softened some highlights. Worked more on blanket. Still need to get some better transitions between highlights and shadows.

I like this more each time I look at it. There's something about the desaturated, muted colour scheme with those touches of warm gold that's very soothing. The expression is perfect, too. Dogs. They're always looking at you out of the corner of their eyes. They know it's going to get an 'Aaawwwww.' response from humans. It's how they get walks, treats and you to throw that stick for them.
