that elephant face is awesome! looks like firey dust :)

The more I look at this the more it looks like he's running from a brush fire, even stamping on a few embers and putting them out accidentally. Brush fires can be deadly to all animals over there, even elephants. This is stunning.

I absolutely love this. I like how you incorporated so many unusual colors and made them work so well in "concert" here. Elephants are so sweet.

I like the colors in the elephant, but I agree with Dave about the dust. Maybe you could try playing with the dust as a kind of colored, grainy fog. The thing that throws it off the most for me is probably the way that you seemed to color in only the darks and highlights of the dust.

Elephant!!! It's well done. I agree about the dust, not that it actually looks bad, but it looks as if the elephant is stepping on smoldering lava or something.

I think the problem is that it doesn't look anything like dust. not so much that it's there. dust is nearly opaque

I personally don't think it needs to look like dust, (it does look more like smoke or something), but it's just cool looking, anyway.

I want to thank you all for your views on this and how you see it. I was kinda messing with what colours I could use, that you wouldn't normally link to an Elephant, and the dust kind of evolved..lol I think the colour thing went to my head a lilttle, but I really appreciate all this feedback, it helps me a lot.
