It looks to me like there are some proportional errors, i.e. her hand looks way too big in contrast with the face for a little girl.

this is a very good start. Is it that her hand is out of proportion or are we seeing the tips of the hand in back higher in position and making the closer hand look like it has very long fingers?.....maybe just more definition on where the closer fingertips end?
The eyes are wonderful.
