Linework is effective - makes it look sort of antique. The detail pattern on the armor is quite nice too.

Your line work is so fine. I'm also such a fan of Japanese art and red's my favourite colour so this is very appealing to me. Have you seen the Kurosawa film 'Ran'? It's the retelling of Shakespear's play King Lear by the Japanese master filmmaker. The battle and samurai scenes in it are unbelievable--terrifying beauty.

Oda Nobunaga was a great Japanese warlord who conquered a lot and attempted to unify Japan. He's looked down on by some people though because he destroyed a lot of buddhist temples because he wanted everyone to follow shinto or something. He did great things though.
