And now, for some criticism: The shading on the horns is kinda blobby looking. When you finish this, you my want to clean it up a bit, maybe even not have it just white on black, with some greys that eventually get lighter and lighter.
The red. I know it's the color you picked for the dragon's skin to be, but its very very saturated, so maybe next time you could try a more subtle or muted shade of red, perhaps burgundy. And for the shading, pick light source, and shade in the opposite direction. Say, if the light was coming from the upper right corner lets say, then the darker parts would be on the bottom of the dragon and on the left. Because to me, it makes no sense that the shine on the horn is on the same side as the shaded part of the skin.
I dont know if that was all that helpful, but anyways, it's just some ideas you may want to put into consideration when you finish this. :)
the shadeing is still a littttle strange ... but still its pretty nice.. the shape of the dragons head... and the eyes just melt right in .. nice draw lori
