I am totally diggin' the composition and the "take" on this one. I also like how you have it titled with the text (I thought about painting a frame and a brass plate on one of mine, but I just haven't painted the picture I want to do that on yet. (Wait, did I say diggin'?... ok I might as well go sit cross-legged on the floor way too close to the TV and watch an old episode of Batman) (diggin' was before my time, even) :)

i guess it was taken near the university, he loves that sonofagun place, not a touch on Edinburgh tho :P

I live fairly close to the Grand Union Canal (south of B'ham), and this picture looks tremendous. The wrought ironwork in the foreground adds depth - I look forward to seeing this finished :)
