That's way better..it has the feel of a scene from Gone With the Wind.. this is great. Only thing that bothers me a little is how the noses seem to merge..maybe make his a bit smaller with just the slightest bit of bg showing between the two?
I dont think silhouettes can become showcase cause theres usually not much skill needed to make one, even though they looks really nice. It'd have to be reeeally good.
hideyourface: Wrong on all points, there. There are silhouettes in the showcase, and it does require a great amount of skill to do one right, sometimes moreso than a subject with alot of detail. This one is very nice, kristine.
this SUCKS on all points. i hate using my stupid mouse >_< and the funny thing is that, i still have no idea what the hell im doing. im such a freaking noob.

Im just saying silhouettes are pretty basic. An outline, and a simple background. The background cant be too complicated or it would take focus away from the silhouette. Then the silhouette itself is only really good when theres a lot of detail put into it because it's just an outline. They look pretty, but if you're really good at them I think you need to take all the artistic aspects like composition and complementing colours into consideration to produce something that would be showcase quality. I know theres some in showcase, sorry if made it sound like I thought otherwise.
you know, Kristine, if you hate it so much, delete it-these pictures are for you, if you dont like them dont feel pressured to share them. At least don't downplay people's compliments when they actually mean them.
Some of us (*cough* me *cough*) can't even draw a nice line with a mouse. And you seem to do miracles. You shouldn't belittle yourself like that. When I saw this, I was really mesmerized by it and I was like 'wow...' and like Anna, it does make me cozy. :)
