I think it's cute. Some tips I have are to work on the nose (it's erm, odd) and lower the eyes a bit and raise the mouth a bit. I think that will make it alot better. I like the hair style alot though, and the wing's adorable.

...Now that I think about it, maybe you should make the head smaller as well.

You've got a grasp on shading, now you just have to make it more in depth. I can't wait to see more of your work. <:D
