Wow! This is amazing for a first drawing! This is so cool, maybe you could try adding a bit more shading? And a background would be great, I am not really good at giving advice, so that is all i can think of im afraid! ^_^ This drawing is amazing though, keep it up! ^_^ *Thumbs up*

OH MY GOD! I've noticed so many newcomer make so many fabulous drawings as their first drawing. You people learn very fast. This is flippin amazing for someone who's new. Excellent work and keep it up. And welcome to 2draw! ^__^

It's a nice drawing to start with, but here's a few things to work on since you asked. Try using the Opacity and Flow adjustments in the lower right of the lascaux applet you used to control your brush more so you can get smoother lines. The way you made the lines in the hand is a common way I've seen a lot, where not every line between fingers is drawn, but for as dark and thick as you made the lines I think it would look better with some more definition between fingers. The shading is nice and looks like it's in pretty much all the right places, but I'd like to see it a little darker. At least on this screen I'm using it seems a little too faint to me. Overall it's a good first use of the applet though, so keep it up and I'm sure you'll be making some more nice work soon.

If you want to make your pictures more smooth, try oekaki shi-painter.
It's good when drawing in anime style :3

Yes.. Oekaki Shi-Painter is rather good as well. You should try it out and see which one you like. If you're sticking with Lascaux, try the "Anti-Alias" button. Great so far, especially with the cramped space. Do you use a mouse or a tablet?
