I am a recent register and i would like to know how would i make 3-d objects. If i were to make something as simple as a pizza crust. How would i make the pizza crust look like its 3-d?
And how would i shine light off of an object? What tools would i need to use in order to make stuff look 3-d and shine light off of objects? |

Use whatever tool you want. Add dimension to drawings.. hence 3-dimensional. Just practice things you want to get better at. There's really no real way. Everyone has their own style to drawing things, so do things however you want. That's about it.

I do not have any education on drawing, but drawing simple objects like spheres, cubes, cones, pyramids under lighting so you can learn how they are shaded can be helpful and you can draw more complex objects easier later. <:)

Well, basically, a pizza is in the shape of a coin or more accurately a flat cylinder. The outter crust is a long cylinder, just add color and texture to make it look like crust.
This site has some nice tips on how to draw basic "3-d-ish" shapes. http://www.sierravista.wuhsd.k12.ca.us/basicart/basicshapes.htm Here is some info on how to use the Lascaux Applet: http://cellosoft.com/2draw/wiki/index.php/Lascaux_Sketch Tips on how to draw: http://cellosoft.com/2draw/wiki/index.php/How_to_draw |
