okay... you spent alot of time just colouring the dragon... lizard... fish.. thingy with a hook, but it still just seems flat. yes this is VERY bizzare.

I didn't spend *that* much time on coloring... did I? I mean, maybe just filling in, but not shading. I didn't want it to look much more realistic than that.

yeah it looks better than a fill colour but with the amount of time spent Id advise using abit bolder colours from the custom colour picker.

It was the color I wanted. I altered it a bit, but why does it matter if it's custom or not?

I think the colors are fine (so don't you worry 'bout that), and the flatness may be coming more from the background and how the yellow blood seems to run the same in the air and on the surface of the dragon (sorry that was a bit confusing).
