;o; Such a sad picture. Yet it has a since of brightness about it. Beautiful contrast there emma. I love the moods it throws out there.

Sad, but nice. I like the see-through-ish umbrella. :D
emmamommalag (Jul 11, 2005)
Yeah, I tried to get both in there, squee. Thanks, you guys.

You did good. The dark sadness is offset by the bright colorful couple with the see-through brelly and the flowers.. I like it.
emmamommalag (Jul 11, 2005)
Yeah, because no matter how deep the gloom.. the promise of brightness is always there. Sometimes you have to dig for it, though.

I see what you're saying. But seeing them all happy with the dark people unhappy, kind of makes it look like they're being ignorant and not caring about the death. I think it'd be better if it was just them, and the view was either from the tombstone looking at them, or from the front of them with the tombstone behind them.

Well.. they DON'T care... not a bit.
"And they, since they
Were not the one dead, turned to their affairs." .. Robert Frost

either way, it still gives off the feeling i described. ignorance. The idea could have been presented in a better way. Thaaat's all.

That's funny you mentioned that poem, that's what this picture reminded me of...
We studied it in english a few years ago...
