I've been wondering, if oekaki bbs is such a crappy program then why do we even have it? :/

while it is an unrecommended program, some oekaki artists still enjoy it.

then why does the applet window rant on about how crappy it is? they should respect other people's opinions

well that makes sense considering the applet window won't even load for bbs

The reason Marcello rants about it is to really discourage people from using it, because usually when something goes wrong someone posts about it failing on them and how "someone" should fix it. Obviously, that "someone" would be Marcello, so therefore he would rather not have people post about it so it really is "draw at your own risk".

I would like to try it, but it won't load for me either.

EDIT: I mean, pinklynx didn't have any problems with it.
