First time drawing a whole picture with watercolor...and it's annoying. Used a picture from an art book as a reference. And the lips were killing me...it wouldn't come the way I wanted. =_= And the eye is off proportion.

Might change something.

I normally use very low opacity/pressure with the watercolor tool. Generally it's helpful to use high opacity (the A setting in shi painter) at first for a base color, then lower it to maybe 10-30 and on the same layer start with the highlights and shadows. Well that's mostly what I do anyways.
