Translucent reality idea came from me thinking about all the slips that have been made, as if humans are spinning a web (the translucent reality) around themselves, as if to protect themselves, and occaisionally real things (dragons, gryphons, other things called mythical or made-up by humans) slip through temporarily, usually to be killed (knights killing dragons), put up in zoos as freaks of nature, trapped in some lab to have tests run on them, or stuffed and mounted on some person's wall.
