Self-promotion time! I mean uh, er, I need criticism on this stuff I made. *cough* yeah.

So anyway. I drew three pictures while I was at work today, and here they are. I was mostly experimenting with Photoshop's tablet pressure sensitivity, and I can say with complete objectivity that it (tablet sensitivity) is the coolest thing ever in the known history of mankind. Further updates as events warrant!

The first one: Is really good. I love the line variation. Could use a bit more shading, seems a little flat. The background is pretty neat, though.

The second one: Not much to say, nice comic style. Could use a background, but, like you said, you were just practicing.

Third one: is awesome. The use of texture is super. It lives up to your style and subject, ROBOTS. :] Wonderful background too, reminds me of like... africa somewhere. Would be lovely if you colored it.

Thanks folks! As much as I love the applets here, I must say, the CS experience was a joyful revelation. Fairly smooth lineart was so easy I almost wept tears of joy.

The inking style in the bottom was kind of a hybrid approach from shading I've seen method3 do and similar works I've seen done for Battletech illustrations. I have another work shift on Tuesday, so I'll probably make some more stuff then. Hurray for cushy computer lab jobs!
