That is pretty good. Some of the people that have inspired me here are zep (painterly and expressive), zack (he can make giant robots and I can't), trip (also painterly and expressive), thecrimsonking (very strong lines), shudson (imaginative work), maiko (unbearably cute), and furyofroy (I really like furries...). Each of them have something in their art that I especially like. There's a lot of other people with things I like too, but those are the main ones and can think of right now. I improve because I want to do better than what I am right now and have in the past. I seem to draw best when I'm in various forms of angry/frusterated, because I feel like I have something to prove. I'm generally unmotivated otherwise.

lol i feel you redpanda. Though i'm rarely angry/frustrated, if i am, it's probably because i couldn't draw something that i had wanted to =S
I am almost always unmotivated =) not just with art, pretty much everything =D
