Alas, the King was not the only one to see the Admiral's fleet arrive. From the highest tower in the grainary, where the royal guard was housed, the Duke surveyed the crew led by the mighty fish. By day, the Duke served the king faithfully; as commander of the estate guard, he ensured the safety of the grain and the castle. But by night, the Duke plotted in secret to ursurp power from the King! The King did not entirely trust the Duke (the king thought his moustache a little waxy), and had thus entrusted his personal security to appointed bodyguards, seperate from control from the Duke.
