i don't know much about makin cartoons...but...she loks very cute so far. i do think she should be a redhead ;) but what's that thing around her neck above the cape thingy?

It's slightly odd that she looks a bit Asian, from the shape of her eyes and her smooth brow, but she's wearing European clothing. I like how the image looks clean, like you knew what you were doing ahead of time, but I kind of feel that as a peasent she should look dirtier with more scraggly hair. Maybe a few stains/cross hatched dirt spots on her clothes would show that?

Well, the 'peasant girl' thing was more of an afterthought for the image title. I wasn't really concerned with that while I was drawing, moreso trying to get facial proportions right and whatnot. I think she'll look less Asian after I get the whites of her eyes in there (she's supposed to be looking up). I do see what you mean, though. Hmm...

And um, the thing is a collar, maybe? Dunno. Kind of making the clothes up out of my head here. ;)

edit: if I cover up her left eye, she looks Asian. If the right, she looks European. hmm...

cherro: As long as it doesn't jeopardize my killer-robots career.
Kilala: Well, what I was attempting here was a cartoon style without lineart, so putting lines back in would go against that. Maybe I wasn't entirely successful with creating contrast here, though. I'll think about that for the next one.
