Why would calling a frog a bufoon technically be correct?

HaHa! GOT YA! The answer is that the scientific name for a frog in general is bufo bufo. So calling a frog a BUFOon would, technically speaking, be correct!

Except it's spelled 'buffoon.' :P

Another reason that calling a frog a buffoon would be appropriate is because 'buffoon' is derived from the Latin word which means "to puff," which is what frogs are known to do with their mouths. (get all puffed up) rrrrrribbit. ;)
