That's a good composition. Do you work from photographs you take, others take, or do you just make up the comp. before you start drawing and go from your mind? Just curious, because while the content itself is not WICKED interesting [not to say it's boring], the comp. is hella tight. The strong black edge of the table draws the viewer’s eye directly into the figure. It's nice, and very well done. [Attempt at actual critique]
Hey, thanks y'all. Alex, yeah I work from any photo most of the time. To be honest, I'm pretty afraid to try and do something completely on my own. I'm workin' on that though. lol
I'd really like to see something you can do just from your mind, or from photographs you've taken yourself. It would be real cool to see what kind of comps. and subject matter you find to be interesting. The cool thing about this site [in theory] is that you can mess around with different styles, techniques, compositional choices, etcetera, and hopefully get good feedback as to what is working and what isn't. And before you and sin have a flattery contest: shyaddap. You two are both awesome, just in wicked different ways.
Edit: BLAST! It seems I was just a few seconds too late. It has already begun.
